ASTM C12000 Phosphorus Deoxidized Copper Tube With Good Welding And Cold Bending Properties
1. Description
The cold and hot working performance of C12000 low phosphorus deoxidized copper tube is very good. C12000 low phosphorus deoxidized copper is mainly used as busbar, conductor and parts to be welded.
C12000 phosphor deoxidized copper has good weldability and cold bending performance, and generally has no tendency of "hydrogen disease". It can be processed and used in reducing atmosphere, but not in oxidizing atmosphere. In Chinese standard, there are TP1 and TP2 belonged to de oxidized copper by phosphor, please see standard comparison table as below.
TP1 has less residual phosphorus than TP2, so its conductivity and thermal conductivity are higher than TP2. TP1 and TP2 are mainly used for pipe applications, and can also be supplied by plate, strip or rod, line. Used for gasoline or gas delivery pipe, drain pipe, condensation pipe, mine pipe, condenser, evaporator, heat exchanger, train box parts.
